American Robin Visits Bird Feeder on a Winter Day. How many times have you seen a American Robin come to your bird feeder? I have seen them around my ground feeder from time to time. But it is a cold 27 degree day here in Ohio with 9 inches of snow on the ground. In the spring, summertime periods you will see the Robin pulling worms and insects from your lawn and garden. In fall or winter I still see them but in my fruit or trees that hold berries. This robin cam back to the feeder today many times to feed or just set in the sunshine. We will start to see many more American Robins coming to the area this spring. |
